Jervis Bay Dive Trip

White sandy beaches, tranquil waters, a healthy marine ecosystem. Jervis Bay is the perfect getaway! Jervis Bay is a large, safe harbour, protected by the towering stone cliffs on the seaside that sink deep into the ocean. This part of the coastline is close to the continental shelf, with clear water coming up from the deep ocean. Visibility at Jervis Bay averages at around 15 to 20 meters throughout the year.

Jervis Bay is home to a vast quantity of marine life from huge Humpback Whales and playful Fur Seals, down to a wide variety of macro life.. There are a number of varieties of pipefish that are endangered that are found here, there is also several sea horses such as the Eastern Big Belly and even Weedy Sea Dragons! There are also vast numbers of soft corals, anemones and fans.

We will be heading down on Friday, and doing two dives from the boat on Saturday and again on Sunday. We will be staying in the Huskisson Bayside resort in twin share accommodation, though private rooms are available on request at an extra cost. This trip includes tanks and weights rental, but you will need to book gear rental for any other equipment and pick it up from our dive shop before you head down to Jervis on Friday.
